We are in the midst of an exciting week here at Harvest Church as the drama production of “Heaven’s Gates – Hell’s Flames,” an outreach event targeted to reach the lost for Christ, is being presented each evening. We have seen filled-to-capacity crowds, many visitors and invitees, and most importantly, we have seen our altars filled with people of all ages confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and making the decision to serve Him.
I am so thankful for all those who have worked and served in every area of ministry to see souls saved and families restored. Thank you, CHURCH, for being such a tremendous army of servants and volunteers who give, serve, work, pray, – and then give, serve, work and pray even more. Together we go further!
In just a few short weeks we will have another awesome opportunity to share the love of Jesus through the Phoenix Convoy of Hope Outreach scheduled for Saturday, February 27 at Grand Canyon University. Approximately 800 volunteers are needed to serve on the day of the outreach. This Convoy of Hope outreach is intended to envision, equip, and empower the Church to meet the spiritual and physical needs of families living in human suffering. It is a collaborative effort between churches to do together what each one could never do alone. On the day of the outreach, free groceries will be distributed, health services will be provided, a job fair will be available, and all recipients will have the opportunity to hear the gospel and receive prayer for personal needs. Please prayerfully consider your involvement in this amazing opportunity.
On Sunday, February 14 we will be receiving a LOVE offering for Convoy of Hope. This offering will help provide aid to the needy people of Haiti, as well as supply groceries and services for the struggling families of Phoenix. I am asking every person to set aside one day’s salary and give in this offering.
We believe 2010 will the greatest year of the Church because we have set our hearts on the Great Commission.
God bless you!
